Effective Community Partnership

Construction from the Rio Tinto Center is because of a effective public/private partnership to boost the all inclusive costs of two.5 million for that project. The funding originated from the us government, the Utah Condition Legislature, a bond based on the voters of Salt Lake County, and also over million elevated through individual, corporate and foundation philanthropic support. The Museum's building is known as the Rio Tinto Center because of the naming-level donation from Kennecott Utah Copper / Rio Tinto which incorporated the donation from the copper utilized in the building's facade.

Site and Trail Access

Situated on 17-acres next to Red-colored Butte Garden, natural History Museum of Utah can serve as the trailhead to Utah for citizens and site visitors alike. The website overlooks the Salt Lake Valley and is part of the College of Utah's Research Park.

Bike shelves can be found while watching Museum. The Coffee shop and bathrooms are available without admission or checking in in the Ticketing Desk.
