Park City Utah ski Resort

It's official: Park City Mountain Resort and Canyons Resort are actually one large Utah ski resort - a minimum of in title and branding.

The bottom area at Canyons is going to be known as Canyons Village at Park City, supplying a gateway towards the ski resort's 300 trails, based on an announcement.

Vail Resorts folded the plan last winter after it bought Park City Mountain resort for $182.5 million, the Connected Press reviews. It's likely to be prepared for the approaching 2015-16 winter months.

The combined resort have a skiable section of 7, 300 acres. That outpaces Large Sky Resort in Montana using more than 5, 800 acres and Vail in Colorado with 5, 289 acres.

The $50-million improvement plan requires an eight-passenger high-speed gondola known as Quicksilver which will link the 2 and run between your Silverlode Lift at Park City and also the Flatiron Lift at Canyons.

The accommodation also intends to upgrade several lifts to hold more snowboarders and boarders.

And it'll give a new restaurant known as Miners Camping at the bottom of the Silverlode Lift that may accommodate 500 people.
