Hi all,
We are departing the large city looking for available spaces, quiet and tranquility. Our plan's to fly into Vegas and mind out immediately. We do not have enough time (5 full days) and it'll be between October 25 and 30, I have leased a 4wd Vehicle and am thinking about 2 options:
1. Northern Mojave Preserve and Dying Valley - driving through dunes, canyons, old ghost cities, 4wd tracks. Seems like fun however i hear the elements can nonetheless be extremely hot within the valley even just in October. This can be a safer option.
2. Zion Park or Bryce Canyon after which driving lower towards the grand canyon at Tuweep / Toroweap. These two options look amazing but could anybody let me know what type of weather I'm able to expect at the end of october during these places? Has anybody ever driven the little streets to Tuweep / Toroweap from southern Utah? How lengthy wouldn't it decide to try drive individuals streets? Appears like I'll mind south via St. George on I-15 then Route 5. Basically go ahead and take drive lower there' would spend 2-three days there to really make it well worth the trip.
I truly actually want to do option 2 but wish to hear your thinking. If it is likely to be really cold and take all day long they are driving these streets i then might be dissuaded.
