Trail Map

The Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC), with nearly 450 daily departures to over 100 nonstop destinations, is a major hub for Delta Airlines. Other major carriers include American Airlines, Continental, Frontier, JetBlue, Southwest, United Airlines, and US Airways. You can often fly and ski on the same day in Utah. Show your boarding pass for that day upon arriving at your resort and you could ski free.

By Car:

Take I-80 from the east or west and use exit 145 at Kimball Junction/UT-224, 34 miles from the airport. UT-224, the main artery from I-80 to Park City, will bring you to the doorstep of the Park City Mountain Resort just two miles later.

Ground Transportation:

There are a myriad of options to deliver skiers to Park City from SLC. It's just a 35-mile drive up I-80 and there are many transportation companies eagerly awaiting your call. Included are Canyon Transportation (800-255-1841; ) and Park City Transportation (800-637-3803).

Getting Around:

Expect the best and get it. Park City Mountain Resort, and its surrounds, is tops with its free in-resort shuttle system. Service connects visitors to skiing, après ski fun, shopping, lodging, dining, and partying from early in the morning until well past dark. This system is so good that they didn't have to tweak it very much to move around visitors during the 2002 Olympic Winter Games.
